Training.Workers are trained in work and safety procedures, hazard identification and control.
All workers, if required for their jobs, must have successfully completed Petroleum Safety Training, Occupational First Aid, H2S Alive, TDG, Ground Distrubance, Confined Space, WHMIS, Bear Awareness and a Clean Card. Accident Investigation.Management investigates and analyses every accident to determine corrective actions to prevent re-occurrences.
Every employee and contractor must immediately report all incidents, accidents and near-misses to the proper government authorities. Hazard Assessment and Control.Recognizing potential hazards and taking steps to control them is a major part of the company’s safety program. This program requires the full participation of all employees and supervisors, attempting to control hazards within the work area.
Rules and Work Procedures.We expect all employees to follow all company and government regulations.
All vehicles will be driven in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with the posted rules of the road. Communications.All employees will attend safety meetings, pre-job planning meetings and tailgate meetings whenever they are required to do so by their supervisors.
